Knowledge and entrepreneurship

Some ideas you realise on your own, for others you surround yourself with experts. The Science Park has a broad network of knowledge partners, with which we connect companies. Because there is a lot of expertise in the region that you can call on as a company, we are happy to guide you through this landscape. We combined relevant expertise within various knowledge institutions, such as the University of Antwerp, UZA, VITO and the colleges.

University of Antwerp - Valorisation Office

The Valorisation Office is responsible for the operational Valorisation policy within the Association of University & Colleges of Antwerp (AUHA). Jurgen Joossens, head of the Valorisation Office, explains: “Our valorisation office connects the Antwerp knowledge institutions with companies. We help researchers transfer knowledge and technology to the market and put companies in touch with the right research partners. In addition, we advise on forms of cooperation, we support valorisation projects from the idea to the actual valorisation and we maintain the vitality of our community of spin-offs.”

Do you need expertise? Do you want to know which research groups there are at the association? Our team will be happy to show you around.
