Completed in 2007 and currently owned by ING lease, this building is a breeding ground for innovative activity. The building is largely occupied by ExoBiologics and etherna, who are developing their therapies with a beautiful view of the water feature in the background. N19 is a modern, attractive building designed for growth with open architecture that’s fully covered with in-roof solar panels.

In the spotlight: etherna immunotherapies

Since 2013, biotech company etherna immunotherapies has been working on research and development in the field of mRNA, a component that helps in the transcription of our DNA into proteins. The goal? To develop a new form of cancer control. “After we had outgrown the VUB, we were able to come here and we like it very much. The park is well situated and easily accessible from all directions. The science park team creates its own atmosphere. Networking with the other companies is facilitated and there are interesting lectures and training courses. For us, the presence of other industry companies, such as anicells, is a plus. The Atlas ecosystem around ATMP also looks promising. In this way, an interesting microcosm is being created here that we think is great.”
